Create a prop firm account
Each prop firm account must be registered to assign trades to it, track drawdown and manage payouts.
The essentials
- Pick the firm from the catalog; its rules pre-load automatically.
- Phase 1 / 2 / 3 or go straight to Funded if you have instant funding.
- Enter the MT5 login if you're going to use JTTS_EA.
Steps
- Go to /accounts and click "New Account".
- Mode: Prop. Pick the firm from the dropdown (FTMO, Funded Trader, MyForexFunds, etc.).
- Size: the challenge capital ($10K, $25K, $50K, $100K, $200K).
- Initial phase: Phase 1 (default), Phase 2, Phase 3 or Funded if you go straight to funded (instant funding).
- Challenge type: 2-phase (default), 1-phase, instant.
- Challenge cost in EUR/USD (what you paid for the phase).
- If you're going to use JTTS_EA, enter the MT5 login — it identifies the account in logs.
What is calculated automatically
- Maximum drawdown allowed according to the selected firm's rules.
- Current balance: size + sum of profit_usd from trades.
- Current drawdown: distance from the equity peak.
- If both modes are active, the global ranking combines them.

Create a real account
Real accounts (own mode) are for personal capital: your broker's live account, demos for testing, or family accounts you manage.
Move phase (Challenge → Funded)
Each prop firm account can have multiple phases. JournalByTTS tracks them all, not just the current one — so you have the full history.
Firms catalog
/firms is the directory of prop firms the journal works with, along with their preconfigured official rules.
