Prop vs Real mode
JournalByTTS separates your activity into two completely independent contexts so metrics don't mix.
The essentials
- Prop mode: prop firm accounts (FTMO, Funded Trader, MyForexFunds…) with phases.
- Real mode: own capital (live brokers, personal demos).
- KPIs, ranking and views are filtered by mode automatically.
How each mode works
Prop mode
- Prop firm accounts with phases (Phase 1, 2, Funded).
- Drawdown tracking against the firm's official limits.
- Payout history per funded account.
- Main KPI: funded capital + accumulated payouts.
Real mode
- Own-capital accounts (live brokers, personal demos).
- No phases or propfirm rules.
- Main KPI: current equity + growth since inception.
How to switch
Topbar toggle (desktop) or header switch (mobile shell). Persists in session. Switching automatically selects the first active account of the new mode and all pages (dashboard, analytics, portfolio, calendar, trades) re-filter.

Create a prop firm account
Each prop firm account must be registered to assign trades to it, track drawdown and manage payouts.
Create a real account
Real accounts (own mode) are for personal capital: your broker's live account, demos for testing, or family accounts you manage.
