Be an academy mentor

Mentors are users with privileges to create cohorts, invite students and review their shared journal.

The essentials

  • The can_mentor flag is only assigned manually — contact admin.
  • Once active, manage students from /academy.
  • Students decide which accounts they share with you (default: none).

What you can do as a mentor

  • Create cohorts (groups of students with shared duration and goal).
  • Invite students by email — they receive a magic link.
  • View the journal of each student who has authorized you (KPIs, trades, calendar, analytics).
  • Comment on individual trades — the student is notified.
  • Close cohorts with an automatic progress summary.

Important

The student controls visibility. You see nothing until they authorize you, and they can revoke access at any time from /profile → Academy.
