Organize your copy week: the Sunday routine

Establish a weekly ritual to recreate and review your groups before Monday kicks off. In under an hour you set up the week — no emotional decisions on Monday at 9:30.

The essentials

  • Every Sunday, recreate the copier groups by grouping accounts per firm (2 firms per group is a good starting point).
  • For each account in the group, set TP in USD ("stop here") and SL in USD based on tolerable risk.
  • If you copy with multiplier (e.g. ×3), scale the SL proportionally to TP — same USD risk, not same lot.

Your Sunday routine

  1. Review the consistency of each account from the previous week — drawdown, win rate, rule compliance.
  2. Recreate the copier groups by grouping 1–2 firms per group (Apex with Apex, FTMO with FTMO…).
  3. Enter each account in the group and set TP and SL in USD per account (e.g. "+$600 → close all, −$400 → close all").
  4. Activate the group. Accounts will close themselves when hitting TP or SL, no monitoring needed.

Why TP/SL per account

Each account tolerates a different level (top, master, evaluation, funded). Setting the cutoff per account prevents one from dragging the others and removes the emotional decision on Monday's open.

Multiplier and stop

Base scenario
Master with TP $800 and SL $800. Copying 1:1. Symmetric result.
×3 scenario
Master with TP $800 and ×3 multiplier → set SL also $800 on each slave. You'll lose proportionally earlier, but you win three times. R:R intact, same USD risk.

Tips

  • Block 30–45 min on your calendar on Sundays. With the mental template in place that's enough.
  • If an account hits TP on Tuesday, leave it stopped until next Sunday. Don't "revive" it — that breaks the discipline.
